My approach

My approach is rooted in Person-Centred therapy, where creating a warm, supportive space of safety and trust is paramount.

Here, you are encouraged to share your concerns, challenges and aspects of yourself freely, without fear of judgement. Within this environment of empathy and genuine acceptance, you are able to explore your thoughts, emotions and behaviours at your own pace — gradually making connections between past experiences and present struggles.

Central to my work is the belief that every person who arrives at therapy carries with them a story worth honouring. The path that brought you here — with all its chapters, detours, losses and moments of resilience — holds something essential of who you are. Each person ultimately needs to be seen, acknowledged and understood. Healing, in my experience, is not about erasing the difficult parts of our story, but about tending to them with kindness, care and respect, so that integration can take place.

In the initial phase of our work together, it is important for me to truly get to know you — to listen deeply to your story and understand your internal world and all that you carry. From this foundation of trust and safety, we can then begin to gently address wounded parts and unresolved experiences, drawing on the therapeutic modalities of EMDR and IFS where appropriate.

I firmly believe that each person carries within them an innate wisdom — the capacity to find their own answers and navigate their life’s choices. It is a privilege to accompany you on that inner journey, holding space for reflection, supporting the conditions in which healing and change can naturally unfold.
